On March 23, 2021, as a project for the Calling & Career Office, I brought two financial experts to campus. Josh Robb and Austin Wilson are the hosts of The Invested Dads Podcast and work at a financial firm in Findlay, Ohio. The CCO hosted an event for students called "Money Talk" where students could ask questions live about anything finance related. The two shared tips on how to budget, when and where to get insurance, how to pay off loans, whether or not to get a credit card, and much more. The event lasted an hour and was hosted by me! It was a great event!
On May 1, 2021, I got to end my presidency of the club IFC by directing a campus-wide fashion show titled Fabrica: A Celebration In Color. The event showcased students from all corners of campus sporting different fashion trends. We saw 90s jump suits to beautifully embroidered saris to complete monochrome outfits. The event was a huge success and the night ended with the release of my cabinet's magazine Collide, which highlighted student talent across campus. It was a great way to end senior year.
